PWA Returns To The Fairgrounds With Three Huge Title Matches

The Premiere Wrestling Alliance will return to the Fairfield County Fairgrounds again on April 20th, and they are coming with an absolutely stacked card and three huge title matchups.

The PWA Tag Team Championship match has recently undergone some changes. A shocking and suspicious injury to John D. Crazy Hillbilly forced him out of his first title defense with JT Hogg. In his place is Randy the Rowdy Hillbilly. He will try to put aside his recent history with JT Hogg in order to help his uncle retain his titles against Vicious & Delicious, whom many fans suspect may have been responsible for John D's injury.

Tommy Forte also has a tall task in the form of "The Franchise Player" Chris Cruit. This rivalry dates back to Forte's PWA Heavyweight title opportunity against against "Outlaw" Tony James. Forte had the champ on the ropes before Chris Cruit delivered three consecutive package piledrivers to Forte, costing him the title. Expect lots of fireworks out of this one. It's personal.

The PWA will also continue it's annual tradition of The Shot At Greatness Battle Royal. Several PWA Superstars will enter, but only one will stand victorious with the prize of a shot at any PWA championship title that they choose. Announced participants for this years Shot at Greatness Battle Royal are "The Irish Hitman" Lafferty, Jimmy Farenheit, "The Nordic Nightmare" Bjorn, Cody Blaze, and Josh "4x4" Jackson.

And in the main event, "Outlaw" Tony James will defend his PWA Heavyweight Championship against "The Real Deal" Kevin Cruit. Kevin has been on a real hot streak since debuting late last year. He won the Lucky 13 Rumble and is a worthy challenger for the PWA Heavyweight Championship, but Tony James is the champion for a reason. Things got heated at a contract signing between the two at the PWA Arena, but both men are confident they will leave the Fairfield County Fairgrounds as the champion.

A lot of scores will be settled on April 20th. You can be among the PWA faithful, live and in living color, by purchasing your tickets now at and at M&M Pawn Shop in Lancaster, Ohio.
