When are tryouts?

Tryouts are FREE and held every Tuesday. Tryouts start at 7PM. You will need to sign a waiver first. We reccomend arriving 15 minutes before hand.



What do I need to bring?

You will need a valid state ID.



What should / can I wear?

All trainees are to wear: soft soled shoes (gym shoes) clean t-shirt or sweatshirt (no sleeveless) sweatpants or gym shorts (no jeans or jean shorts) elbow and knee pads are optional but not required



How can I prepare?

Professional wrestling training is something that's hard to prepare for. Keeping yourself in good physical shape and maintaining good cardio would be two of the biggest things to help prepare you for wrestling.



What do we do in the tryout?

Tryouts are to give the trainers an idea of where you stand physically and to give you an idea of what professional wrestling training entails. Lockups, bumps and rope running are some things done during a typical tryout. Tryouts last approximately 15 minutes.



Can I bring someone with me?

Sure. We do not allow any video of tryouts to be taken however.



How much does it cost?

We have a few different payment options. When you come in for your tryout one of our trainers will go over them all for you.



How long will it take for me to have my first match?

We have had students who come in and pick things up quickly and have a match in 3 or 4 months. We've had students who for one reason or another never have a match. Typical time is 4 - 6 months. That time is not a gurantee and depends greatly on athletic ability as well as time and effort a student puts into training.

At The PWA School Of Pro Wrestling you will learn: the holds and counter holds ring psychology how to cut a promo / interview how to create a character

The PWA School Of Pro Wrestling was founded April 15th, 2015 and has turned out many PWA notables in the last 5 years. We run wrestling events monthly and use those events to feature many PWA students. That adds a live event to the training that you won't get elsewhere.
